Who We Are
expressed by poems and songs
We are making something to show at the Spring Concert. |
I decided to do a follow up on a project that we've already done.
Remember your Sky Follies? You did a 20 second clip about a song that makes you happy and a slide to go along with it. Remember? We are doing a similar thing. 20 seconds and a slide. This time you can choose up to three songs
Frequently Asked Questions
You do the math. If you want to play a song for a longer time than the others, you'll have to make your other songs shorter. You can break up your 20 seconds however you want with one, two, or three songs.

Our library has a lot of great poetry books.
- If it is an image, that is fine but you do need to credit the person who made the image.
- If you copy and paste the text to a slide, you still need to include the author. If you include an image in that slide, you need to site the source.

Find your songs on YouTube
|
Copy (Command + C) the URL of the youtube song
Go to YouTube to MP3 |
Click on Download
|
Do this for the one, two, or three songs you will want to use.
They will automatically be saved to your computer's download folder. You could drag them to the desktop if you wish.
Part C |
Open iMovie and create a new blank movie project.
Pull in or import your songs and your image or screenshot of your poem. You'll have to start by editing your songs down to 20 seconds.
20 seconds or less... No less than 10 seconds though. Extend your image to cover the length of audio. Make sure that the whole project is school appropriate. No swear words or violent images. At all. Share your project as a file.
