Your assignment: Using one of the green buttons or links below, create something using coding. There should be something for everyone. Many of the links go to code.org but some deviate from that site. If you need to create an account, I put a link to that on the right side for your convenience.

- Create a game or animation or card or quiz or anything using that website.
- If you use Code Combat or Code School, send me a screenshot of your final screen.
- Email me ([email protected]) the link so that I may look/play/enjoy your work.

Course 1 uses pictures so you if you don't know how to read, you can still code.

Course 3 is for intermediate coders who have worked with scratch or code.org before and can jump right in.
Course 4 is for advanced coders (although it starts out very easy).

You need to have made a code.org account to make apps. You can use blocks or Javascript to make apps.

Uses Javascript or Python (or other) languages to fight villains. This is a free version but you should be able to do the whole first world. There are bonus levels in the first world and they make it seem like you have to pay. You can X out of it and move onto a different spot.

Learn computer languages such as Ruby, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Python, iOS, Git, etc.
In order to save your work, you'll have to make a Scratch account. Otherwise you could also work only at school and save to your Student Share folder.

Google has started to do what code.org has been doing. They have a 8 activities to do and a series of video tutorials that go along with the projects.
